My first computer
My First Computer è il primo esercizio che facciamo per avvicinarci ai computer. Vediamo ora insieme quali sono alcune delle parti importanti che lo compongono.
CPU = E' il processore, è molto piccolo (smart) e velocissimo nell'eseguire le istruzioni. Ne esegue 1.000.000.000 al minuto. E' molto occupato nel dare istruzioni a tutti i componenti del PC.
Hard Disk o Hard drive = E' lento ma conserva con cura i tuoi file, le immagini e i giochi anche a PC spento.
RAM = E' una memoria molto veloce, che contiene i programmi in esecuzione. Lavora con la CPU e l'HD, ma si dimentica tutte le cose quando il PC viene spento.
ROM = E' la memoria che ricorda le cose importanti, come le operazioni che servono al PC per accendersi. Non è possibile cancellarla e rimane attiva anche quando il PC è spento.
GPU = E' il processore che controlla la scheda grafica, quella che fa funzionare i velocissimi video giochi.
REMOTE CONTROLLER
MICROCONTROLLER = I piccoli computer che stanno negli oggetti di uso quotidiano (lavatrice, microonde, televisore ecc.) invece di avere dei monitor, una tasstiera o un hard disk, hanno solo questoThe tiny computers that live inside your every day stuff. Instead of having screens and keyboards and hard drives, everything fits into one tiny circuit. Microcontrollers still have a processor, memory and different input/output systems.
SENSOR = Some microcontrollers don’t need you to push a button in order to work. They have sensors that monitor the changes in the environment, for example temperature, vibration or moisture.
EVENTS = In computer science it is an action that causes something to happen. Every time you click with your mouse, type on the keyboard or push a button on the microwave, an event is triggered.
